Meet Sarah

Sarah O’Reilly is an Occupational Therapist with 8 years experience assessing, treating, and managing scars and oedema following traumatic injury and burns.

Her clinical experience includes working with clients who require intensive care, burns, plastics, and vascular specialist involvement.

Sarah holds a graduate certificate in Burn Trauma Rehabilitation through the University of Notre Dame, Australia, a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) from The University of Queensland, and a Master of Philosophy (UQ), focussing on the treatment of small scars post burn injury, using tapes.

Sarah has a particular interest in minimising the burden of treatment for complex traumatic injuries and is further developing home visiting and room-based services for NDIS participants with long term scar and oedema needs
